Nic Twisselman, MDSU-1 Operations Officer, originally from Chico, Calif., in prepping his SCUBA gear for a routine reconnaissance dive in Pearl Harbor March 26. As a component of Explosive Ordnance Disposal Group One, MDSU-1 provides combat ready, expeditionary, rapidly deployable mobile diving and salvage companies to conduct harbor clearance, salvage, underwater search and recovery, and underwater emergency repairs in any environment.
