NORFOLK, Va. (Feb. 28, 2025) Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5) commanding officer Capt. Trace Head congratulates Damage Controlman 3rd Class Isai Ardontavizon during a promotion ceremony on the barge mess decks, Feb. 28. During the ceremony, six sailors were promoted, Head awarded the Battling Bastard of the Week, and updated the crew on the schedule of the ship’s dry dock period.
