U.S. Soldiers, assigned to the 977th Military Police Battalion, receive a brief from U.S. Customs and Border Protection about incoming Military Police to help secure the southern border at Del Rio, Texas, Jan. 29, 2025. U.S. Northern Command is working together with the Department of Homeland Security to augment U.S. Customs and Border Protection along the southern border with additional military forces.
