Atsushi Higa removes vines Feb. 21 from a fruit tree at his farm on Mount Yae-Dake. Marines with 7th Communication Battalion, 3rd Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group, III MEF, spent the day helping Higa clear out the underbrush around the farm’s hillside as well as the rocks from one of its fields.
