Major General Philip McNee, the Surgeon General of the United Kingdom Armed Forces, had the opportunity to visit the U.S. Army Medical Center of Excellence. This was the initial visit by the UK Surgeon General. McNee attended a detailed briefing on MEDCoE’s mission, training capabilities, and International Programs. While at Fort Sam Houston he also toured the Brooke Army Medical Center, the U.S. Army Institute for Surgical Research, the Medical Training and Education Campus, and Defense Medical Readiness Training Institute.
