    This is a NASA archival photograph (C-2006-2290) from John H. Glenn Research Center at Lewis Field showing the back face of Panel 52-2 after impact testing. The panel features a honeycomb-structured surface and was subjected to a 90-degree gap filler test at 121 feet per second. Visible damage is concentrated near the center of the panel, showing white bright spots and linear crack or impact marks.
