The Fleet Readiness Center Southwest Components and Manufacturing Division, along with 93301 Shop recognizes Mr. Jeffery Petrus with the Golden Wrench Award. Mr. Petrus demonstrated his extraordinary resourcefulness in the implementation of the revitalized programs in reference to Metrology and Calibration, Hazardous Materials, Individual Materials Readiness List, and Tools accountability. As the leading Maintenance Management Specialist, he expertly tailored over 10 programs to ensure guidelines were met supporting the 35 hydraulics artisans in maintaining and achieving over 500 Ready for Issue components for the quarter. His exceptional performance prioritizing METCAL work to deal the workload shifts and to ensure mission critical work is accomplished to 100% accuracy rate, resulted in the timely maintenance and the accurate repair of 30 Test Stands. All his diligent work and keen knowledge in management, contributed much on the shop’s high production quarter rate. His superb handling of all environmental HAZMAT’s storage and disposal was graded “Best” during the State Environmental and Safety inspection. Additionally, his relentless efforts and help in coordinating all the Calibration and IMRL requirements on all Test Stands already resulted in the quick turnaround into UP status. Mr. Petrus’ devotion and perseverance to aviation maintenance makes him most deserving of the Golden Wrench award.
