Norfolk, Va. (July 30, 2024) A Diamond Excellence Award is on-display that was awarded to Naval Weapons Station-Cheatham Annex during the Hampton Roads Sanitation District’s annual awards ceremony and luncheon. Cheatham Annex garnered this prestigious award for perfect compliance in the areas of waste water pre-treatment and pollution prevention from 2003 to 2023. This record of perfect compliance is the longest standing record for any U.S. Navy installation within the Hampton Roads, Virginia area.
