This photograph of the Earth was taken from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's NASAApollo 13 spacecraft during its transearth journey home. The most visible land mass includes southwestern United States and northwestern Mexico. The peninsula of Baja California is clearly seen. Most of the land area is under heavy cloud cover. Original film magazine was labeled L, film type was Ektachrome Color SO 368. This is equivilent to an Aerochrome 2448 but Ektachome processed and on a thin Estar film support.
