The U.S. Air Force (USAF) Weapons School is celebrating its 75th anniversary at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada, May 17, 2024. The origin of the USAF Weapons School can be traced back to the establishment of the Aircraft Gunnery School in 1949 at Las Vegas Air Force Base, which was subsequently renamed Nellis AFB in 1950.
