NASA education opportunities enhance students' understanding of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Project Summary: In partnership with Texas Instruments, NASA's Math and Science @ Work project works with teachers to develop supplemental application problems into Advanced Placement (AP) courses. These problems are human space exploration based and integrate with courses such as calculus, physics, chemistry, biology and statistics. Objective: NASA develops this content to increase students' understanding of how NASA uses math and science to accomplish its missions. Time Frame: This ongoing project will be featured at the AP Annual Conference July 14-18, 2010, in Washington, D.C.
