U.S. Marine GySgt Josias Bahena, Camp Lejeune, receives his certificate awarding him the identifier 0961, The Faculty Advisor Exception Military Occupation Specialty on April 24, 2024. The new mos identifier, which was awarded to marines from four staff noncommissioned officer academies, gives leaders the ability to identify those highly trained marines and send them to organization to be facilitators as well as seek out marines with similar qualities for the program.
