Aviators from 1st Battalion, 52nd General Support Aviation Battalion (Sugar Bears), pilot a CH-47 Chinook above Kahiltna Glacier in Denali National Park, April 24, 2024. After 43 years of the aviation unit delivering vital equipment like food, camp materials and mountaineering equipment, the "Sugar Bears" are expanding the operation to include the Alaska Army National Guard in the yearly Denali supply runs.
