The Joint Technical Arrangement Working Group (JTAWG) participants gathered for a group photo on April 10, at the U.S. Embassy, in Rome, Italy. The JTAWG serves as an action officer forum within the Joint Military Commission (JMC), which focuses on the bilateral relationship with the Italian military, proposing courses of action, discussing and drafting, and negotiating technical arrangements and amendments supporting JMC missions. Representatives from various organizations form the JTAWG, including the Construction Mixed Commission, represented by Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Europe Africa Central (EURAFCENT); U.S. Naval Forces Europe; Commander, Navy Region EURAFCENT; U.S. Sending State Office; U.S. European Command; U.S. Army Europe; U.S. Air Forces Europe, and their Italian military counterparts. This collaborative effort brings together expertise and resources to address critical matters and ensure the success of the U.S./Italian common defense mission. The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Europe Africa Central (EURAFCENT) oversees seven Naval Public Works Departments across three U.S. Combatant Commands.
