GULF OF THAILAND (Mar. 1, 2024) An AH-64 Apache, assigned to Bravo Company, 1-229 Attack Battalion, 16th Combat Aviation Brigade, flies by the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS Somerset (LPD 25) during Exercise Cobra Gold 2024, in the Gulf of Thailand, Mar. 1, 2024. Cobra Gold, now in its 43rd year, is a Thai-U.S. co-sponsored training event that builds on the long-standing friendship between the two allied nations and brings together a robust multinational force to promote regional peace and security in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific.
