U.S. Marine Corps Civilian Rodney Sturgis, Primary Prevention Integrator (PPI), Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Beaufort, tells his story Feb. 9, 2024. Rodney is a South Carolina Licensed Independent Social Worker-Clinical Practice (LISW-CP) and spearheads efforts to prevent self-harm and address behavioral health issues within MCAS Beaufort. Through education and collaboration, he enhances resilience and promotes a holistic approach to well-being among Team Beaufort. He continues his long service to the country after retiring from the Marine Corps as a gunnery sergeant in 2005.
