Lt. Cmdr. Kevin Downey, a Naval flight officer attached to Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron (VAW) 123, holds his daughter after returning home to Chambers Field on board Naval Station Norfolk. VAW-123 was deployed with the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CVN 65) in support of maritime security operations in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility.
