    2nd Mobile Brigade, 25th Infantry Division

    Pfc. Nicholas Pata, a New York City native, who serves as a radio-telephone operator for Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team "Warrior," 25th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division – Baghdad, was a volunteer firefighter in the Rockland County Fire Department prior to joining the Army. Pata assisted in the rescuing efforts after the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.
