Second Lieutenants Caitlin and Chelsea Ragoonanan volunteered to hand out toys to students of Briscoe Elementary School in San Antonio, TX on December 8, 2023. The twins, from Trinidad, were completing the Army Medicine Basic Officer Leader Course at the U.S. Army Medical Center of Excellence and accelerated their course assignments so they could participate during the holiday event. They attended ROTC together at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and come from a military family. 2nd Lt. Caitlin Ragoonanan is working to become an Army Physical Therapist and 2nd Lt. Chelsea Ragoonanan is pursuing Patient Administration. Their first assignment will be at Fort Cavazos with different units and are hoping to get overseas assignments during their careers.
