The test piles are currently being removed at the West Shore Lake Pontchartrain I-55 Pump Station and Drainage Structure site. Pile load tests are conducted to identify the depth the support piles need to be driven and how much weight can be sustained. The test piles are being removed as all the dynamic and static test data are complete. This will mark the footprint of the levee and future location of a pump station.
