Last week the 50th Force Support Squadron celebrated Schriever SFB establishing the voluntary education partnership of Memorandum of Understanding Schools (MOU) with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and University of Maryland Global Campus by holding a ribbon cutting ceremony.
For the first time Schriever SFB will now have onsite MOU schools. While the selection process was extensive, Mrs. Jamina Caldera, 50th Force Support Squadron Education Services Officer and Education and Training Section Chief, is excited for what this addition brings to the Schriever community.
"... We identified the needs of the students and based our selection off of [those] criteria. They will be able to offer face to face advisement to service members [and] their families... The end goal is to also offer classes on Schriever."
