Spc. Chamile Fisher, a human resource specialist from Atlanta, Georgia, is assigned to Headquarters Company, 185th Expeditionary Combat Aviation Brigade, Mississippi Army National Guard, and joined in June 2021. Fisher’s grandfather, father, and stepfather all served in the military, and she chose to join the Army to be a human resource specialist because it is similar to her civilian job, she said. She aspires to become a commissioned officer and retire from the Army as a major.
