Soldiers, Family members, and DoD Civilians of U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz gathered for the Baumcon - Baumholder Comic Book Convention hosted by the 16th Sustainment Brigade and 95th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion at the Hall of Champions on Smith Barracks, Baumholder, May 21, 2023.
With a theme of "Come Get Your Geek On," participants entered to win a free Costume Contest judged by the 16th Sustainment Brigade Senior Enlisted Advisor, Command Sgt. Maj. Aguillen, the 95th CSSB Commander Lt. Col. Robin Eskelson, and the 95th CSSB Senior Enlisted Advisor, Command Sgt. Maj. Luis Ortiz Escalera.
The festivities were open to all common access cardholders and included areas where participants could buy/sell/trade - comics, Funko pop, t-shirts, and puzzles. Also available were Cosplay, trivia contests, a photo booth, and a table to draw your own superhero.
