Sheikh Ahmed Albu-Risha caresses his prayer beads during a meeting where he announced to many of the local Iraqi leaders that his organization, Sahwah Al-Iraq, or the 'Awakening Councils in Iraq' is going to become a political organization, laying down its arms, and sending his men to become a reserve unit in the Iraqi army. The meeting was attended by many Anbari sheikhs, Iraqi army and police commanders, as well as Col. Robert F. Castellvi, the commanding officer of the 1st Iraqi Army Division Military Transition Team.
