Research personnel from Naval Medical Research Unit-2 work alongside regional partners with the Tropical Infectious Diseases & Education Centre and the University of Malaya. NAMRU-2 conducts research to address infectious diseases such as malaria, dengue fever virus and gastro-intestinal pathogens in cooperation with partner nations throughout the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command area of responsibility.
