In the Astrotech payload processing facility near Kennedy Space Center in Florida, General Dynamics technicians check the GLAST spacecraft as an overhead crane is lowered over it. After the crane is securely attached, the spacecraft will be lifted and moved to a work stand in the facility for a complete checkout of the scientific instruments aboard.
