Lieutenant Gen. A.C. Roper, Deputy Commander, U.S. Northern Command, welcomed French Air and Space Force Gen. Philippe Lavigne, Supreme Allied Commander Transformation, NATO, to the North American Aerospace Defense Command and USNORTHCOM headquarters on Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado, Feb. 2, 2023. General Lavigne participated in discussions on the command and control modernization work done by NORAD and USNORTHCOM as well as the commands’ strategic vision for integrated deterrence, domain awareness capabilities and capacities to defend the homeland, and areas of collaboration and integration with NATO partners.
