PACIFIC OCEAN (Nov. 25, 2022) - U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Daniel Trujillo, a flight equipment technician with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 362 (reinforced), 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, has been recognized as the Marine of the week. Daniel is from Chapin, South Carolina. While he grew up he has always wanted to branch out, see what the world had to offer and do something meaningful “I joined the Marine Corps to be a part of something bigger than myself and see the world!” So, he joined the Marine Corps. Daniel is now deployed with the 13th MEU traveling the globe and providing our Aviation Combat Element with gear crucial to mission accomplishment and the safety of our pilots. He provides them with functioning and maintained night vision equipment, protective clothing, survival vests and much more. Daniel is responsible for inspecting and maintaining this life saving and mission necessary equipment. In his field of specialty, the Mato is “The last to let you down.” Because the pilots need to know that people like Daniel will keep them safe and in the fight. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Sgt.
