Coast Guard assists sailing vessel beset by weather 150 miles south of Ponce, Puerto Rico
The Coast Guard Cutter Joseph Doyle assists two U.S. boaters while towing the sailing vessel Watoosh Dec. 7, 2022, after the 40-foot sailing vessel was beset by weather in the Caribbean Sea, approximately 150 nautical miles south of Ponce, Puerto Rico. Cutter Joseph Doyle completed the safe tow of the Watoosh to just off the coast Salinas, Puerto Rico, where another vessel took over the tow to bring the vessel to safe harbor Dec. 8, 2022.
