Spc. Edward Herron Jr, 364th ESC’s, 477th Transportation Company Culinary Specialist and Federal Police Officer shared his reasons for joining the U.S. Army Reserve.
“Growing up my parents were great influences. My father is retired U.S. Navy and a Sheriff Deputy, and mother currently serves AGR in the Army Reserve. They both taught my siblings and I the good and bad about the world. They’ve dedicated their lives for serving others and setting a good standard for their children. I thought it would be great to establish that same standard for others which led me to joining the Army Reserve. It granted me many opportunities to set an even higher standard to succeed in life.”
