Sgt. 1st Class Dennis Galimberti of Joint Force Headquarters aligns his sights with a target inside the Engagement Skills Trainer at the NHNG Regional Training Institute in Center Strafford on May 13.
Galimberti has been a soldier in the NH Army National Guard for 19 years and said he appreciates the opportunity to practice in the EST.
“The best takeaway from these trainings is the familiarization with shooting before live fire," Galimberti said. “It’s a great tool for soldiers at any experience level.”
The EST is designed to simulate live fires with the use of precision lasers. The system provides detailed feedback for the shooter.
