Coast Guard, St. Croix Rescue, DPNR and VIFEMS units rescue 65-year-old man from the Annaly Bay Carambola tide pools in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands
A Coast Guard Air Station Borinquen MH-60T Jayhawk helicopter aircrew hoists a 65-year-old man who was rescued by St. Croix Rescue, Department of Planning and Natural Resources and Virgin Island Fire Emergency Medical Service units after the man was pulled under and trapped in a blowhole of the Annaly Bay Carambola tide pools in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands Nov. 22, 2022. The Coast Guard aircrew transported the survivor to the airport in St. Croix, where VIFEMS personnel received and transported him to a local hospital. ( U.S. Coast Guard photo)
