Special Agents from the Department of the Army Criminal Investigation Division, Central Texas Field Office Joint Base San Antiono Resident Unit, helped local area Boy Scouts earn their Fingerprinting Merit Badge Nov. 5, 2022.
The "Merit Badge University" event, hosted by the local Alamo Area Boy Scout Council, was held to give Boy Scouts the opportunity to earn several different merit badges. Special Agents helped more than 100 Boy Scouts earn their badge.
After the event the agents took the opportunity to discuss what Army CID does and inform and educate them about online safety and the prevention of child/teen victimization.
