Coast Guard Sector Houston-Galveston watchstanders received a report of three fishing vessels aground in the Intracoastal Waterway north of Rollover Pass when concerns were raised about possible rollovers occurring due to Hurricane Delta. This was the tenth-named storm to strike the United States in 2020 and the third major one in that year’s record-breaking hurricane season.
