THULE AIR BASE, Greenland – U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Curtis Neraasen, 920th Security Forces Squadron port operations flight chief, stands guard at the entry control point to the port during the unloading of Ice Guardian, the ship used for Operation Pacer Goose on Thule Air Base, Greenland, Aug. 7, 2022. Ice Guardian carried about 521,611 pounds of cargo valued at $4.3 million, as well as 260,617 gallons of petroleum products across both the Atlantic and Arctic Oceans.
