AVIANO AIR BASE, Italy – This week’s Wyvern Fighter Team of the Week is the 31st Contracting Squadron’s plans and programs contingency cell (PKPX)!
The PKPX team has the agility and flexibility to meet the 31st Fighter Wing’s evolving mission by bridging the wing’s organic capability gaps with downrange contract support.
Over the last couple months, the team organized and planned contract support for exercises such as Thracian Viper and Cobra Warrior. They also contracted support for the 510th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron, currently in Romania supporting NATOs Enhanced Air Policing efforts.
