The 16th Special Troops Battalion recently conducted a Change of Command Ceremony as outgoing Battalion Commander LTC Hans Lokodi relinquished Command to LTC Hardy Johnson the incoming Battalion Commander. The Change of Command was carried about by 16th Sustainment Brigade Commander COL Angel R. Estrada. The 16th Special Troops Battalion conducts operations in multiple countries concurrently. They are vital in the tasks include human resources, financial management and the full spectrum of services required to sustain the brigade and battalion headquarters operations across U.S. Army Europe, U.S. European Command, and on order, the U.S. Africa Command areas of responsibility.
