A photo of an illegal voyage is captured by a U.S. Customs and Border Protection marine enforcement aircraft May 11, 2022, as the vessel transits toward the west coast of Puerto Rico. Shortly thereafter, the Coast Guard Cutter Joseph Tezanos interdicted the makeshift vessel, which was carrying 24 Dominican Republic nationals, who were repatriated to the Dominican Republic May 16, 2022.
