This graphic was created to be the Wing mascot for the 319th Reconnaissance Wing. The griffon has many meanings built within its design that represent the 319th RW; It's always watching ready for flight 24/7, its eagle eyes see all and are a reminder of who rules the sky and how it is relentless in the pursuit of its objectives, its lion body shows its unparalleled strength which is a persistent deterrent to adversaries, and its tail carries the 319th's flames worn on the patch of every Airmen as a "Defensores Libertatis" or defender of liberty. (U.S. Air Force graphic by Tech. Sgt. Christopher Burke) (Edited by Airman 1st Class Roxanne Belovarac)
