Spc. Logan Johnson, information technology specialist, 1st Theater Sustainment Command, was recognized by Maj. Gen. Michel M. Russell Sr., commanding general, 1st TSC, April 14 at Fort Knox, Kentucky for earning his Security+ certification while working in the G-6 section of the unit. The Security+ certification validates the baseline skills needed to perform core security functions, incorporating best practices in hands-on troubleshooting and problem solving skills. The course is very challenging and not all people pass the final test to earn the certification. For the next three months, The Appleton, Wisconsin native will be conducting an internship with the Fort Knox Network Enterprise Center where he will help maintain the unit's relationship while refining his information technology skills.
