As a successful proof of concept, the 38th Air Defense Artillery Brigade conducted a resupply of PAC-3 MSE canisters utilized in the MIM-104 Patriot surface-to-air missile system via CH-47 piloted by the 3-25 Aviation Regiment during Balikatan 22 at Fort Magsaysay, Philippines, April 3, 2022. Balikatan, Tagalog for ‘shoulder-to-shoulder,’ is a long-standing bilateral exercise between the Philippines and the United States, highlighting the deep-rooted partnership between both countries.
