U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Kedrick X. Schumacher, 21, from Wasilla, Alaska, is a combat graphics specialist stationed at Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia. Schumacher was born in Fairbanks, Alaska, and soon thereafter traveled South to Wasilla, where he and his family explored and adventured the great state. His life experiences eventually led him to Recruiting Station Wasilla, where he embarked on his next adventure in the United States Marine Corps. Schumacher enlisted in 2019 with a goal to challenge himself physically, while establishing a career he could be proud of. To this day, Schumacher is continuously aiming to challenge himself physically. In his free time, Schumacher has integrated the sport of boxing into his daily fitness routine. He often brings his Marines to the gym to share his knowledge. (U.S. Marine Corps photo illustration by Lance Cpl. Jessica A. Foraker)
