U.S. Marines with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 364, Marine Aircraft Group (MAG) 39, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing (MAW), conduct anti submarine warfare alongside a U.S. Navy UH-60R helicopter with Helicopter Strike Maritime Weapons School Pacific, during Winter Fury 22 off the coast of San Clemente Island, California, Feb. 12, 2022. MAG-39 has been working with Helicopter Strike Maritime Weapons School Pacific to develop tactics, techniques and procedures that emphasize the speed, range, and expeditionary nature of the MV-22 to support the Navy in their anti-submarine warfare mission. Winter Fury 22 provides the Marines of 3rd MAW with realistic, relevant training opportunities necessary to respond to any crisis across the globe and win decisively in a highly contested, maritime conflict.
