Recent simulator test conducted at NASA LaRC have involved the piloted evaluation of a candidate High Speed Civil Transport known as the Reference-N configuration. The photo illustrates the interior of the VMS configured for standard takeoff maneuver. The Ref.-H assessment project incorporated maneuvers which spanned the anticipated flight envelope of the Ref-H Vehicle.
