March 1973. The Vietcong and NVA had previously "worked out" of the Da Nang JMC complex. Every day though, a regular JMC meeting is held. A roll call is called and naturally the Viet Cong and NVA are recorded as absent. Shown here is the JMC in session. In the center is JMC chief of the South Vietnamese delegation. To the right of the photograph is shown Col. McCoid, his aide and interpreter. In the foreground are the empty chairs of the North Vietnamese and to the left are the empty chairs of the Viet Cong. Behind the ARVD is the secretary/recorder.
