Members of Naval Medicine Readiness Training Command (NMRTC) Bremerton’s Command Resilience Team were recognized for their contributions to the command climate assessment.
“A huge congratulations and thanks also goes to out to our Command Resiliency Team. We recognized the following Sailors this morning with Letters of Appreciation for their diligent work with helping with the most recent DEOCs [Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute] survey. Making sense of the survey and comments through focus groups and interviews was a huge lift, and crucial to our understanding of what I need to work on as a leader,” stated Capt. Patrick Fitzpatrick, NMRTC Bremerton commanding officer.
Receiving a Letter of Appreciation (LOA) from Capt. Patrick Fitzpatrick were Hospital Corpsmen 1st Class Alvine B. Aquino, Weldekiros K. Aregawi, Paul Delacruz, James Gibbens, Matthew Hanley, Brian M. Pimpo and Sonnypaul Soriano; Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Mai Hornback, Kyra James, Joseph Kahler and Jessica Pohl; Master-at-Arms’ 2nd Class Kimberly Griffin and Victoria K. Henry; Hospital Corpsmen 3rd Class Eric Morcillo, Estella Obando, John Ong III, and Danielle Schlarb; Master-at-Arms 3rd Class MacKenzie Razo; Yeoman 3rd Class Rachel Guevara and Hospitalmen Marcelina Aviles, Wendy Dang and Grace Pridmore.
The LOA read in part, “sincere appreciation for the professional support you provided to the command during the DEOMI Organizational Climate Survey from August 2021 to November 2021. You devoted numerous hours towards improving morale, resolving process deficiencies, promoting equal opportunity and increasing the overall command climate. The strength of our Navy lies in dedicated Sailors such as yourself. Your professional performance was invaluable to the command and set the example for others to emulate. It is a pleasure to have such a dedicated Sailor on the Command Resilience Team.”
