Army Staff Sgt. Adam Krauland, a cryptologic linguist and paratrooper, assigned to 1st Squadron, 40th Cavalry Regiment (Airborne), 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), U.S. Army Alaska, won Noncommissioned Officer of the Year in the Army's Best Warrior Competition that culminated last fall.
