The photograph shows the Energy Efficient Transport (EET) Model in the NASA-Langley Research Center 8-Foot Transonic Pressure Tunnel. The model has been tested with different wing and tail surfaces to generate an aerodynamic performance data base on the effects of wing thickness, twist, sweep, aspect ratio. The data base will be used to predict the aerodynamic characteristics of aircraft.
