Commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet (PACOM) announced USS Barry (DDG 52) as the Spokane Trophy winner for 2020 on March 24. Barry is the first ship to win both the Atlantic Fleet’s Battenberg Cup and the Pacific Fleet’s Spokane Trophy. Barry is assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest forward-deployed DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force. (U.S. Navy photo by Lt.j.g. Samuel Hardgrove)
