YOKOSUKA, Japan (Oct. 20, 2021) – Electronics Technician 3rd Class Calvin Corbett, assigned to U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19), from Windom, Texas, performs a mechanical advantage control hold takedown on Gunner’s Mate 2nd Class Adrian Cruze, from Tucson, Arizona, at Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka during a security reaction force basic (SRF-B) course Oct. 20, 2021. SRF-B is a course that teaches rules and regulations as an armed watch stander and provides Sailors with proper weapons familiarization, tactical maneuvers and proper use of deadly force. Blue Ridge is the oldest operational ship in the Navy and, as 7th Fleet command ship, actively works to foster relationships with allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific region.
